Thomas "T.A." Alan Benson

I never worked with better. Met T.A. on the road in new york last year. There are two things I think about when I think of Beaumont Texas- one is Johnny Winter, the other is Thomas T.A. Benson, second to none. We talked about everything, plumbing side by each, his love for his kids, his love of texas. Never been in better company He was a legend with a heart as big as the state he came from...God bless all who knew, worked with or loved him. Tommy, Shirley, Blane and Craig: We are so sorry to hear of T A's passing. He was a great friend to us and many. Lots of memories from the old pipefitter days and being friends back then. We know your heart must be aching but God is there today and in the hard days ahead. Send love to you all!

I only met T. A. Once but I new early on that he was good man and a very giving person to all family and friends I'm very sorry for your loss he will be remembered by all who knew him

Although I only got to meet T.A. a few times, he made every single minute of it fun and memorable.

I am so shocked and truly sorry on the passing of TA. I have known TA for 10 years and we were in close contact for those many years. I met him when he worked up here in Boston, 2002. He remained here until 2004, but that never broke up what we had. I went to all the sites that he worked at. I went to Delaware, New York, Tucson and PA. We always had so much fun together.
I will always remember trying to get him to leave and the famous last words were"one more". I will miss those late night phone calls or his text messages. He always ended his conversations with "love you".I have so many awesome memories of him and will keep them close to my heart.He loved Tara and Brett so much. He always talked about his mom and dad, his brothers as well. I have many pictures of all of you at Tara's wedding.I never met all of you, but feel as though I know you all through the years with TA.I will miss him dearly and always love him. He is finally at peace. I will miss "old red" his truck.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hope to meet all of you someday.
