My condolences Priest family. I knew Mr. Priest back when I was a girl growing up in the Prince Hall Villa Apartments. My mother would purchase furniture from him and so did I when I grew up. He was always so sweet and caring, he would go out of his way for his customers. I truly missed him after he retired. He was a true gentleman and a great person to have known. Thank you for sharing him with us. God Bless. Sharon Renfro Matthews

I was so saddened to hear of Bill's passing.

I have such wonderful memories of his beautiful garden. Every now and then I will dream about it. In my mind it's like an Eden.

I'm now a gardener myself and do think that Bill's garden must have made a real impression on me.

Much love and peace to all of you.

Billy, Dan, & Joy, I'm sorry for your loss. I remember talking
to your Dad & Mom when we would come over to your
house in Lumberton to see Billy, way back in 1966/67.
The three of you had a great Mom & Dad. Take care,
Donnie

I wish I could articulate what Uncle Bill and his family has meant to our family. What a legacy of stories left behind to be treasured, cherished, remembered and re-told over and over. So grateful to be a part of this amazing family!

So sorry to hear of "Mr. Priest's"passing. I think Joy and I met in first grade at Fletcher and stayed close until we married. Remember lots of fun at their houses on Goliad & then Park St. in Beaumont and of course the "big" house in Lumberton. Mr. & Mrs. Priest were both always cordial and indulged us girls in all our efforts to have "fun" as we were growing up. Fond memories of when he would let us come "work" at the furniture store!
