Uncle Truman, I will miss you so much. I have so many good memories of you. I also wanted you to know that my Joshua reminds me so much of you and that makes me smile. I'm so happy to know in my heart that you are with Jesus and that you are happy. This temporary separation is hard for those of us on this side of the veil but I know we will meet you again on the other side. Daddy, Mama, Vince, Gidgette, Vivian, I'm so sorry for your pain at this time.

Uncle Truman,
I will miss you so badly, but I love you so much that even if I could I would never be selfish enough to bring you back. Because, I know you are so happy to be with Jesus and you know no pain. I know how much you love Him and I thank you for helping me to grow closer to Jesus as well. You were not only a great Christian example for all of us, but so much fun as well. I will always treasure those memories. And I will carry you with me in my heart forever. Daddy, momma, Vince, Gidgett , Vivian and the entire family---- I am so sorry you are hurting. Just remember you will always carry a piece of Truman with you. He is a part of who you are. That does not change with the temporary separation you are experiencing now. I love you all and if you need anything at all, even just to talk, I am only a phone call away. Bye for now, Uncle Truman. If I can be as good as you, I'll see you in Heaven someday. I'll Love you, always.

My heart is broken into millions of pieces since you decided to tell me you wanted to go home! Well,I don't have enough space to write to let you know how your family is grieving for our loss,but....the angels wanted you and now you're finally at peace and rest in the arms of Jesus, and it makes me smile to know!!!!Your never going to be sick,or ever have any more pain! Your another soldier "Gone Home",Gone, but never forgotten.Words could never express how I feel, but knowing Your with Jesus really helps me and your children .Much as you were loved,if I could climb a staircase and bring you back,I wouldn't.....because Truman your race has been run and guess what! YOU HAVE WON THE RACE,love you forever! Vivian Crawford
