I am gutted. John & I used to really enjoy each other's company in Angola and I cherish the memories. We both spent his last night in Angola together in Luanda. We sat on the step of the Staff House and cracked a few cold beers and just chatted together as we did on many occasions.
We would put the world to righs and as the beer flowed, we would giggle together like schoolkids.
Rest in peace John, I will always remember you as a true friend.

I treasure all the momments we spent together in Malongo. Thanks for all the good times in such a isolated land. I pray today to God to provide your family the strenght to overcome this hard time. Adios amigo.
