Dear Sam, Harvey, and Karla:
So sorry to haer about the loss of your mother. I have good memories of her when we were growing up in the neighborhood. I thought about playing in the hills, summer nights, neighborhood plays on your brick patio. I watched The Wizard of Oz at your house for the first time all the way through in 1964. I hated that witch. Your mother had Valerie and I over to eat and watch TV. Then later as an adult, I saw your mother when she was working at a local insurance agency. Sorry I was not there the other night to visit with you all. Thank you Karla for you FB post and keeping up with your family

Karla, I have never met you but I took care of my parents before they passed away. Harvey is like my younger brother. My heart and prayers go out to you because I have been where you are. The prayers go out to the whole family. I met Maggie when she visited Harvey and Jan. What a wonderful woman.
