I have many wonderful memories of Grandma Sonnier -her cooking was delicious and had such a Cajun flair. Her smothered okra and smothered cabbage were two of my favorites. I will remember her making sausage with the family and her lovely accent and sweet disposition. She was a kind, God-loving lady that will be missed and she will always hold a special place in my heart. My prayers go out to Grandpa Sonnier, her dear husband who loved her so genuinely, and to the rest of the Sonnier family. Love you and pray that you find comfort in the fact that she is in a wonderful place of eternal love.

I will always remember you, and how i would go to your camp with my Grandmother. Today you are with your dear friend Dorothy playing cards. Give her a kiss for me. Love you Ms Sonnier...
