Happy Fathers Day Dad. I love you & miss you very much. I have peace knowing you are no longer suffering and now you have peace of mind. It's hard to be without your mom and dad. I guess we took the two of you forgranted. Just never thought of your passing even though that is what life is all about we are born & expected to live Christ like so we can share the glory of God in Heaven . Prayers are always being said for you.

Well Dad it's almost Christmas. We've all had been without Mom for Christmas 8 yrs. ago. Now Dad we don't have you either. I miss you but am so happy you are with Mom worshipping God together. You missed Mom for so long and at last you with her. You had a long journey the past 7 years with dementia but the last 3 were the worst. I thank God that Chris was able to retire & be your cargiver although he would not take any money to pay himself. I know it was a 24/7 job for Chris but he never complained; he you were not only his Dad but had become his best friend. I'm so happy you are now comlete; it hurt so hard to see you go down in health day by day. I am also grateful that you always knew who we were. I love you Daddy. Kiss Mom for me.

So sorry for your loss. Take one day at a time it's all we truely can do to get through the loss of loved ones. He is always with you. Look for the God Winks that God sends you letting you know your Father/Grandfather is right there with you. You'll be amazed at how and how often they will come through. That too will help you get through!!

Love,

To the Decuir family,
Our deepest sympathay to all of you in the loss of your father. He was a very fine man and was loved and admired by so many people. It was my honor to know both of your parents and my life was blessed by them.
May you know in your hearts that he is with your mother and grandson watching over you all now with no more suffering but with joy and that gives each of you peace.

Mable, Chris, Shorty, Mark, and all the Decuir Family,
Tears are flowing now, at the loss of Pop. Sadness is in your hearts, but that will soon be replaced with smiles and thoughts of happy times spent with him. You will have special memories that will last a lifetime. He is at peace, and is watching over you, as you continue on your own life's journey.
