I know that Ms. Ouida will be truely missed by so many people. I quite often reflect on her stories. I can honestly say I admired and loved her. I feel so privleged to have worked with and to have met many of her family members she spoke so highly of. I know she will be reunited with her loving husband and others that went before her.

Love you, Brenda Anthony Warren

Dr. Collns & family,
I was so sorry to read of the passing of your precious mother. You were there for me when I lost my mother, Minnie Hooks and I am so sorry I am not in town for her service...my husband, Jack, had an accident on 8/9 and he is a patient at TIRR in Houston with a spinal cord injury...God's Peace to you and your family at this sad time.

Ouida was always the first to sign the guest book when someone passed away so I guess I may be the first for the online version. I have wonderful memories of Ouida when I first started working for Dr. Collins. She came from the same background as me - South Park High School & her dad worked at Mobil. I loved her dearly and associate her with my parents. She was such a wonderful mother & grandmother. Also made the best brownies around!

I hope Ouida is dancing in Heaven with her one & only love, Ed and hopefully he isn't stepping on toes anymore!

Sincere sympathies sent to Dr Ed Collins, Debbie Minyard, Beverly Baker and all the spouses and grandchildren. Peace be with you all.

All people are special, but the Harbor has lost two special ladies....Ouida and Ruby. I always enjoyed chatting with Ouida when she lived across the street, and still look over there at night to see that "all was well". Her oaks are looking good, but the street itself could do with her attention. The world was made better by these two ladies, I'm sure. They will be missed, but we've been blessed by their presence. God Bless.
