Aunt Ruby was such an inspiration to me. She was beautiful, kind and very loyal to her family. I will miss her charming smile and wonderful advice.

Such a beautiful and classy lady. As Carlene Thompson's sister-in-law, I was privileged to meet her at their home in Houston when she came to visit. She will be missed, but will remain in her family's hearts forever.

My dear aunt and Godmother, Ruby, passed during the "Days of Awe" the holiest season of the year. Her burial and prayers by her Catholic priest were appropriately given on the Day of Atonement, when one's name is written in the Book of Life. God bless you forever, dear Ruby. You are so loved!

As a longtime friend of Carlene Thompson (niece of the deceased), I wish to express my condolences to the family. I am certain that "Aunt Ruby" will be sorely missed and mounrned. I am sorry for the loss of this fine lady ..

A wonderful aunt;still remember the lovely garden party she gave for me when I graduated from Beumont High.I even think she attended all twelve of my ballet recitals.We are so blessed to have Willa in our part of the country now for she is an amazing "trooper" as well.I feel my mother,grandparents and her siblings have greeted her in heaven with open arms!
