To the family and friends of Mary Lou Hickman by love thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you. I loved Mrs. Hickman. Such a true lady and always made you laugh and smile. I loved the time we spent together mostly laughing at any little thing we thought of. Mrs. Hickman, will forever stay in my heart. Once she stepped into your heart that is where she remained. We will miss you terribly. Rest well Mrs. Hickman. We will see you again one day.
Love you lots,
Charlotte Metreyeon

To former schoolmates Bill and Kathy, and to all the family, Mary Lou and Bill Sr. were friends from long ago, beginning when Bill asked me to edit his fledgling publication, "The Salt Grass Cowboy," in the early 1960s. We enjoyed doing it, and I wish I still had copies of the few crudely-printed issues that were published.

Mary Lou was a fine lady, and I admired her for her strength of character in everything she endured. My condolences and deepest sympathies to each and every one of you.
