My Dad Tom was on the band faculty in the 70s and has told me many a Terry Bourdier story over the years. When I was on the band staff in the early 80s, we would still occasionally get mail for Arnold Shakeaux and I would have to explain who he was. I have had the privilege of meeting Terry at Band Reunions and he always had that mischevious twinkle in his eyes.
Daddy and I send you our prayers and sympathy, but we know you have a very special guardian angel still looking over you. The world is not quite as bright with his passing, but a very special star will shine down on us all from heaven.

Karen & Bourdier Family, On behalf of the Alegria Family, our deepest condolences. I will treasure the many memories of Terry, and know and trust on the grace of God that one day we will all be together in the heavens. May God's comfort and strength be yours in this day and always. No one ever leaves us until they are no longer remembered... Blessings from North Texas.

Karen and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We have such fond memories of our friend, Terry, he was a great man full of life and stories, and there was never a time that he could not make you laugh, he will be truly missed by his ExxonMobil family. Dear Bourdier Family, I am so sorry the world has lost Terry. He had such a profound impact on me as a classmate at LSU. Knowing him enriched my life immeasurably. He taught me so much about humor, spontaneity and the joy of life. We pulled many a prank together, some of which are still talked about. Larry, Combat, JG and I were his young "disciples" and he led us on a joyous journey. He will be deeply missed.....Joel Timm

So many Bourdier stories - so little time. He was a precious gift to us all and will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Karen and family, I'm saddened by the news of Terry's passing but I know he is leading the heavenly choir tonight with his musical talents he holds. I had Terry as a band director in Dayton and he was a fun-loving,caring guy who always had a humorous story of some sort. He would sometimes stop the band in mid-stream to tell a joke or a story that had come to mind and then get right back to business. I know you will miss him greatly but I pray for you to receive God's comfort as you read what he meant to everyone. I knew you meant the world to him when he introduced you to me at the LogOn Cafe a couple years ago...I saw the twinkle in his eyes! Geaux Terry, Heaven awaits!

To Karen and The Bourdier Family,
My deepest sympathy and prayers go to you on your loss. Mr. Bourdier as we knew him, was a wonderful man who made music exciting. I'll never forget my first football game, I spent more time watching that exciting man direct the band then the team play. I couldn't wait to join band and play. Mr. Bourdier always had an encourging word for you. He and Mr. Stewart made music fun and enjoyable. Heaven has truly gained a Great Talent and a Great Man.
