I remember Deacon Jimmy Gard as an active member of the Church and the Knights of Columbus from my childhood. I was blessed to know him and his family at that time in my life, and although as an adult I only saw him once in a while, he will always stand out in my mind as an example of what it means to be a good man and a servant of God. Thank you, Deacon Jimmy, and thank You, Lord, for the grace You've shown us through this man's life!

Jimmy, I'll miss seeing your smiling face at our retreats and gatherings. Jesus smiled as you came into Heaven, and He had his arms wide open to wrap you in His arms. May the Lord offer comfort to your family in this difficult times...
