Raymond Willilam Blume

So many of the "born on Bolivar" men have gone home since Ike. Capt. Ace, Beauford, C.W., Bernard, Harry, Leonard, more than I can list. As much as we miss them and Bolivar before Ike I get comfort from knowing they are all up there in God's Kingdom, together fishing, gardening, telling tales, pranking each other and having a wonderful time.

Raymond was a dear friend and a kind soul. I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone nor did I ever hear anyone say anything but kind words about him. That is truly a legacy to leave.
Good Bye old friend and may God Bless Your remaining family.

So sorry to hear of Raymond's passing. He was such a sweet man, who loved his garden and canning his vegetables. I will miss our slow dances at the Wheel. Prayers to his family.

Raymond was a pillar of strength in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike and I will always remember the example he set for so many of his friends and neighbors on Boliver Peninsula.

Raymond you will be missed, by one and all who knew you. Peace be with you.
