A year and almost a month since have been at rest. I cannot explain the emptiness and void that has been left in me since. I am so happy that I am able to be with Grandma and watch her for you. She is in good hands, but I don't have to tell you that. We have helped each other. Sometimes I think she's been my rock more than I have hers. She swears you've made the trees bloom that you both thought didn't survive one winter. You are the brightness of the Northern start that overlooks the front door for her. If it is you, keep it up. We all miss you dearly and certainly isn't a day that goes by you aren't thought of. Love you Grandpa.

Grandpa, Words cannot begin to describe the love a grandfather has with his granddaughter. I will miss walking in the house seeing you in your chair and the smile you'd have when I walked in the door. I'll miss so much from talking football to just general life conversation. You're my buddy. Granddaughters always think their grandpas are 10 ft tall and bulletproof. I know I did, and this all seems so surreal. A piece of my heart is missing. I know this is not goodbye, it's I'll see you later. You are no longer hurting and can close your eyes and rest. I love you and miss you more than words can say.

David, Debbie and family...No words can take away the grief you feel when you loose someone you love. One thing that can't be taken is the love you had for them and all of your precious memories. You and your family-your mom, your sweet girls, are in my thoughts and prayers. I always enjoyed talking to both your mom and dad, they were always kind and friendly to everyone they met.
