The grief is so hard to bear and the pain so difficult to share in words but I am honoured to have been given the spiritual heritage of the introduction to the LORD JESUS CHRIST 30 years ago through Aunty Ruth. Thereafter the growing enjoyment of spiritual encouragement and parenthood through my beloved Aunty Ruth and Uncle Christopher. Aunty inspired me and helped to train me in the ministry to children. It is the many beautiful memories of our times together that inspire me afresh to live "looking unto JESUS" and in the hope of knowing that we shall meet again in glory. I cannot thank you enough Aunty for all that you have been to me and I thank our LORD JESUS for the priveledge of having had you in my life and the wonderful legacy in CHRIST that you have left behind. Rest in peace, all my love, Lydie (Tim, John and Abigail) xx

I know I already posted my heartfelt thoughts to Dear Aunty Ruth, but as the days wear on the sorrow is deep, and after watching the pain of her dear family and loved ones during the funeral, I wanted to add a few words. The following lines of a song convey the sentiments beautifully- and encapsulate, the joy, yes joy, that Aunty is indeed with our Lord, and our hope is only in Him.I can only cling to the loving arms of the Sweet Lord Jesus, and trust you too will find comfort in His everlasting love. Death hath lost its sting, the grave hath not its victory, all because He has borne our sorrows. God bless you all x

There is a higher throne
Than all this world has known,
Where faithful ones from ev'ry tongue
Will one day come.
Before the Son we'll stand,
Made faultless through the Lamb;
Believing hearts find promised grace—
Salvation comes.

Hear heaven's voices sing;
Their thund'rous anthem rings
Through em'rald courts and sapphire skies.
Their praises rise.
All glory, wisdom, power,
Strength, thanks, and honor are
To God our King, who reigns on high
Forevermore.

And there we'll find our home,
Our life before the throne;
We'll honor Him in perfect song
Where we belong.
He'll wipe each tear-stained eye
As thirst and hunger die.
The Lamb becomes our Shepherd King;
We'll reign with Him.

Just saw the KDFM Channel Report on Ruth Aunty. Was moved.
especially the statment made by Ruth Aunties Brother, "I don't think she believed in leaving a legacy as such, because our legacy is Christ. We just leave Christ"

"HOW TRUE IT IS!!"

Dear Aunty Ruth- You are very humble servants of the LORD JESUS CHRIST with your beloved husband & wonderful Bible teacher & expositor Uncle Christopher.
We have been helped, enriched, blessed & empowered by you both personally & as the body of Christ through your teaching of the faithfulness of God's word. I can hear you say-what CAN we do but to PRAY? the anwer being GOD IS FAITHFUL & HIS word is faithful. Alleluia!
Can't believe that you went soo fast in a humanly painful, shocking way. BUT YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR HEAVENLY GLORIOUS DESTINATION, where we shall all be together rejoicing in our Lord & Savior and chuckling together.
Aunty Ruth you are all having a recent grand reunion w Jeba akka. Bro. Glausers's son- Greg, grandma Ruth Thiagarajan and the cloud of witnesses above. Soon we will all be together-what a day of rejoicing that will be ! Thank God for the blessed hope we have in Jesus.
Praying for Uncle Christopher's health and recovery. Sorry that we could not make it to Beaumont today- but was soo glad Uncle D & sis Lorrie represented us all.
Bro Raghu & Sis Padma and Prem we are praying for you. Our hearts hurt w you. But we can keep our heads up because of Jesus.
Sister Ruth! You have become soo precious to our Lord this past week through your death or sleep in Jesus.
Soo glad we could be together that nite before you left for Texas-

Aunty Ruth, was truly an amazing person, her life was an inspiration, from tirelessly taking care of brother Bakht Singh at Hebron India, to compiling and editing his biography with Uncle Koshy in Syracuse NY, her life was a true testament of humble servant hood. She had a pleasant sense of humor and an awesome testimony of God's saving Grace in her personal life. Will miss you aunty, as you enjoy the presence of our Awesome Redeemer and the fellowship of Bro Bakht Singh, Jebba Aunty and many others who have welcomed you into eternity!!!!

I don't know you, but I was so touched by the interview with Mr. Reddy. I could feel the compassion and love that should be evident in all Christians. We know that Dr. Christopher is in the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know you will be comforted by His peace that "surpasseth all understanding." My love and prayers to your entire family.
What a loss down here, but heaven's gain! In this we are confident.
