Even though I can not be there, my heart and prayers are there with this awesome family. Wayne has always been a friend from all the years of school and classes we shared. He always so kind and respectable as we grew up in DeQuincy. I can never remember not seeing him without that beautiful smile he always had. Pastor Cardwell was a leader and shepherd for me along with his father. My heart is heavy for the loss that we on earth will have from the teaching of this great man of God but joyous for Bro. Cardwell that he has made his entrance through those pearly gates and will walk with our Lord Jesus on those golden streets of heaven.

Our hearts are saddened at the loss here of our friend and fellow Pastor, but we celebrate his homegoing to the One he served so well. We are thankful for the beautiful memories you left on our personal life. We are thankful to be aquaintances with great men like Pastor Cardwell who trained well, ran well and finished well! What a great example for anyone to follow. Much love and prayers to the entire Cardwell family and the FUPC church family. We love you all!
