Chip and family. Your mom and dad were lifetime friends. I remember all the laughter when they got together. They were very important to the Nederland Senior Citizen Center, especially to the Trust Fund. Your dad was always looking for a new game to learn so he could share it with all of you. I know that the class of NHS "45" are having their reunion together. You are all in my prayers.

Dear Aunt Gwen,
We were so saddened to hear about your passing but relieved that you are at peace and with your dear husband, Uncle Denver. Your love of family was evident to all of us and was an inspiration especially for Dan. You will be missed greatly by everyone who knew you and loved you. Gwen was one of my mom's (Patsy Collins) best friends throughout my life. And I totally understand why. Dad, mom, Denver & Gwen sure knew how to enjoy life! We will miss her very much.

Gwen was a beautiful Lady and a joy to have known. I worked w/Denver for a number of years @ Warren Refrigerators and developed a rapport w/Gwen that I will always treasure.

Gwen & Denver Knowles will be remembered in Birr, Co. Offaly, Ireland, ancestral home of Gwen's ancestors, the Ushers of Birr and the town where a truly memorable Usher Family Reunion took place in October 2008 at which Gwen & Denver were the focal point, the guests of honour, the motivators, the entertainers and the most important hosts.

I'm so sorry. All of us here at Collier Park will miss her. She was so vivacious and made a lot of friends here in a very short time.

Gwen was such a wonderful & kind hearted person. She always had a smile on her face every time I saw her. I was so lucky to have known such a wonderful lady & proud to call her my friend. She will be dearly missed. My condolences & prayers to the family.
