Farewell David Hearn....one of the sweetest souls ever...and the oldest person I have ever known...what a life you had..I will miss you walking through the halls of church...your singing and your sweet greetings. God Bless You, I know your mansion was perfect and just what you wanted.

David Hearn was such a blessing to all who knew him. I met him through the Beaumont Founders Lions Club. I joined when female membership wasn't welcomed by many of the male members. Bless his heart, David was a major exception. He was such a gentleman and always so supportive (not to even mention a great song leader who knew all the words to TAPS). My heartfelt sympathy to all his family.

I will miss my dear brother. He was such an inspiration to me. I enjoyed our weekly phone conversations. As the the last living sibling of the James A. Hearn Sr. family I will miss him deeply.
"I will always love you with a capital U." (This is how he always ended our telephone conversations.)

In the late 1970s, my grandmother, Betty Virginia Dyess George, was a resident of Hamilton Nursing Home. I remember seeing Mr. Hearn visiting his mother many times, always so kind and gentle with her, pushing her in the wheelchair up and down the hallways, and outdoors, too, when the weather was good. RIP Mr. Hearn.

Our sincerest condolences on the passing of your loved one, David Hearn, Sr. A wonderful man and business leader, he was held in high esteem by so many, including our dad, Frank Swain. It meant so much to our family that Mr. Hearn was able to personally pay his last respects to our father last year. A life lived well, a job well done. Godspeed, dear Mr. Hearn.

You were a joy to know and always welcomed me to come and "play secretary" for you at the office when I was a child. I was blessed to have known you.
RIP -
Prayers to the family for the loss of Mr. Hearn

Oh, the wonderful memories of David as a faithful "member" of the beloved Melody Maids. He shared our reunions with us as we walked down memory lane. Such a fun loving, caring man!
