Dear Dyni and family, I am sorry for the lose of Leonard. I only met him a few times during the "nursing school" days and study sessions, but it was obvious way back then that he loved his family very much. Dyni you know you are in my prayers. God Bless you! Leslie Little

Dyni, I am very sorry for your loss.
I know of no words, no common situations that I have experienced, or a shared strength of our faith in God that could, in any way, ease your pain.

Leonard and I were in the 47TH Class at Lamar U. We all shared a lot of stressful but also great times on 1ST Watch. Back then, we all looked after each other, on and off the job. Brook was a great guy to work with.
Leonard, as you now know, all the pain of this life, will never be felt again.
I am thankful to have known you.

We were fortunate to have worked with "Brook" for many, many years at the Beaumont Police Department. He was easy to work with and truly one of the good guys. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about Brook's passing. May he rest in peace.

Dyni and Family:
I pray you find comfort. It was a privilege for me to know Lobo as a friend and confidant. As you are well aware, he took a smirky satisfaction to his "grumpy" reputation, exposing its facade with an occasional wink. Although Lobo did a lot of things well, he was terrible at hiding his soft heart. I respected him as a private, unassuming man who knew his priorities - with a particular talent for leaving work at work...and his fierce 36-year loyalty to his soulmate. I admired his plain-spoken disdain for fakes and self-serving manipulators. What you saw is what you got, which made Lobo such a great sounding board when an honest opinion was needed. I will greatly miss him.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Leonard. We have so many fond memories of him when our boys were in Little League. He always had a smile on his face and was so friendly. We remember him as a good husband and dad. We are praying for peace and understanding for all of you.
