Dorothy Ratcliff Gibson

I had Mrs. Gibson in the fourth grade at Highland Park Elementary. I will never forget that she read the bible to us every day in class. I know that Heaven is rejoicing over one of the warriors being home. I can only imagine the countless lives she touched through her faith in God. I didn't understand until I got saved, but then I was reminded of the folks like her who touched my life in His name. May God's peace be with all of you.

Dear loved ones,
We were unable to attend your precious Dorothy's memorial. May God comfort and strenghten you at this very stressing time. Now she is with her dear husband, who we loved dearly.

Sherry and Jerry,
We are so sorry for you loss. Your mother was such a sweet woman of God. I wish I could be there today and tomorrow.
The memories I (Reba) have of your parents are so varied and so precious! I learned so much from each of them individually. Your dad's teaching through the years hugely shaped my Christian life and your mother's example helped shape my life as a pastor's wife. I'm sure they never knew how much guiding they did. There was just so much wisdom there.
You are all in our prayers as you walk this difficult week and the months to come.

Your Dad married us 56 years ago and your Mother made my wedding dress, so they have a very special place in our hearts.
