My heart goes out to all of you on the passing of your beloved husband and father. Comfort lies in knowing he is with the Lord and is free from all pain and suffering. May his memory live on in your hearts forever.
Love to all,
Lisa

Daddy always told me God answers prayers. Indeed He does. He answered his to go home and he has answered mine throughout life. How I treasure the lessons that my father taught me through living his life. Until we meet again Daddy...Elizabeth

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jack was such a gentleman...We have missed his presence with us but will always remember his great smile and his warm welcome to worship on Sunday mornings. May you feel God's presence with you during this sad time and always.

So many fond memories of Grandpa Jack. I love to look back on the times he navigated us through some of the biggest shipping barges I have ever seen in my life on his small sailboat. I was convinced at the time that this is how it was all going to end for me...and I was maybe 8 or 9 years old. But he was a giant protector and of course kept me safe.
He always seemed like a giant when I was small, but as I have grown to be an adult, I have realized he was a giant still, just in ways far beyond his physical stature. I am heavily influenced by the collection of Godly men that have been, and continue to be, in my life whether it be my father, uncles, or Grandpa Jack. For that influence, me, and my wife and daughters, will be eternally grateful. I am sure going to miss you Grandpa Jack, but I know I will see you soon. We'll look after Grandma Kitty for you....

Heaven is celebrating! Jack is home! He was a wonderful man. I am praying that God embraces you and holds you close as you filter through all the many memories that made you family. Love you!
