When you needed a good laugh AJ was always there! He was such a blessing to the Gator Equipment Staff!! Grateful for all of his hard work and dedication to the athletics programs at UF. I will continue to lift the LaBove family in prayer. May God continue to comfort you during this time. Love, Carla (UF 1993-1999)

My condolenses go out to this family. AJ was an incredible human being. He was my favorite equipment manager. I would talk to him anytime i had personal issues and situations going outside of football. His advice was always helpful. I also had the privilege of being a student in his daughter Tiffany's class, who was a class act just like her dad. Tiffany if you read this i will keep you in my prayers. AJ will be missed!

It was a great pleasure to know and work with AJ at UF. He was the genuine article and a consummate professional. I bet if you dig through his papers you will find a recently drawn-out plan for getting the equipment truck from Gainesville to College Station for the first road game--even though he retired years ago. He was just that dedicated.
It's a shame that generations of Gator managers will never have the pleasure of traveling with AJ.
All my best to Joy and LaBove family.

As a member of the football staff at Florida from 1990-1998 I was most fortunate to get to know A.J. He was always willing to help, a tireless worker. I have many fond memories of my interactions with him.My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless.
