Dear family,

I had the privelege to work with AJ from 1977 - 1988 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer. He was always a pleasure to be with and was a very hard worker. He was a good example to many a student manager and athlete that passed his way. I know you'll have many good memories and appreciate all he meant to so many.

AJ was a joy to work during my time at the University of Florida. We traveled together frequently to away games and he was the man behind the wheel of Ryder Truck responsible for all the equipment. He truly was a kind person who always spoke highly of everyone around him. He will be missed.

AJ: you will be missed! As a fellow Gator equipment manager, baseball umpire of many a Gator game, and a member of the Gator Nation, I enjoyed the days of talking and working with you. My prayers to the family and thanks for all the help you gave to my baseball umpires and myself.

My condolences to A.J.'s family on his passing. I first met A.J. back in 1986 when I was an 18 year old freshman entering the University of Florida and a football manager. I recall good memories with A.J. on road trips to away games and knew him as a friendly man, full of life, and never without his cup of coffee.

I just found out about Mr. LaBove's passing. As a member of the UF Track team from 1990-1995, I remember him fondly. There was no doubt he was a military man - he ran his equipment room with precision. He will be missed!
