Charles "Charlie" William Beard

My family was blessed to have been a friend of Charlie. My late husband and I worked with Charlie in Scouting for 25 years. I have so many wonderful memories of those times. Under his leadership three of my sons earned their Eagle Scout Award and my husband and I earned the Silver Beaver Award. My condolences to his loving family.

So sorry about Mr. Beard. I so enjoyed visiting with the two of you when you would come to the office for treatment. He was such a pleasant patient, and you were a joy to visit with.

You will be missed very much. So many wonderful memories - especially spending Christmas at the Boy Scout Camp where we would go out and cut down our own Christmas Tree. Please give Daddy and big hug for me and tell him I miss him so much.

My brother Randall Clay played football with Charlie in HIgh School. I also knew Eleanore. I went to Pampa High School with Charlie. Joan(Jody Doan)Clay.
