Frank led a most interesting life, and while we had lost touch, our friendship spanned 40 years. A talented artist in various endeavors, he indeed was an inspiration to all who knew him. I, too, enjoyed his quick wit and our philosophic conversations while on smoke breaks long ago. I can still hear Frank and mutual friend Gordon Baxter arguing until dawn over which came first, the chicken or the egg, and when the tequila was gone we'd go to the Pig Stand for strong coffee and huevos rancheros. Along with many others, I will miss Frank, and my heartfelt condolences go out to the family.

I taught with Frank at West Brook-9 High School. He was such a great artist and was an insporation to his students. I always enjoy his unusual wit and outlook on life. Thoughts of him bring a smile to my face. I can just here him coming into the lounge for his smoke brake, he always had colorful comments to share with us all.
