Dr. Douglas N. Mattingly, Jr.

Doug has been our friend for more than fifty years. He cared for people around him, and comforted us when we had our medical crises over the years. His sense of humor will be missed by us. There simply was not a better man than Doug.

Linda - My thoughts and prayers are with you! I can tell how much you love Doug through the way you talk and smile about him at the office. He was such a great man and dentist. My entire family went to Dr. Mattingly until he retired to persue the passions he loved. He was an "old school" dentist who made you feel more like a friend than a patient. May God Bless you and give you peace in this difficult time.

Dr. Mattingly was our dentist and family friend for many years, especially to our parents, Rosie & Derrill Thompson. My thoughts and prayers are with Linda, the rest of the family, and his many friends. He made going to the dentist fun when we were young.

I always enjoyed going to see Dr Doug. He was always happy and truely enjoying life! I think he talked to everyone he met about his Greyhounds. Back in 1978, he helped me with a dental problem that changed the way I looked at myself, gave me the smile I had wanted for 15 years! I have always been greatful for that I was able to cross paths with him! May God embrace the family at this time.
