When Lori told me you were gone, it felt like a punch in the chest. I was completely shocked and lost my breath. She thanked me again for introducing you two, and I remembered the las time we had dinner together before I moved. You two lovebirds were so happy together, smiling.
My husband and I still have the tables you gave us. The dragon claw legged console table is still our favorite. We thank you again for trying to help us when he lost his job. You were such a generous and kind-hearted person. I will always be grateful for your friendship, for making my friend Lori happy, for your well wishes and help.

Uncle Steve, I will never forget many years ago at the family reunion at Aunt Kathy's house-you told me that the one thing you held onto in this life was family. You said that you knew wherever you went, no matter what you did-you knew you'd always have a place to go if you needed one. You said that's the kind of family we had and we were very lucky because most people didn't have that. I've always remembered that...

To the Barclay family:
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I have known Steve for the past 21 years and have worked with him for most of that time. Steve has been a true friend and a fine man. His work ethic and quality can be matched by very few. I have never seen Steve turn down a challenge or any kind of work assignment. It is a pleasure to have known Steve and to call him my friend.
