Father Fernandez will always hold a special place in my heart and the heart of all our family. Through every marriages, baptisms, or funerals, he became a personal friend, a member of the family, and our spiritual leader. With an open mind and a forgiving heart he lead us all to a better place in this world! We will always hold tight to the lessons and laughter that he leaves behind. Heaven will smile more now that he's arrived!!
With a heavy heart and fond memories,
Clara & Brad Downs

Father was more than my pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes in Vidor, he was also a dear friend, and a member and supporter of the Knights of Columbus. I am deeply saddened by his passing, but rejoice in that he is now with our Lord in Heaven
