Dear Karol,

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Gammill's with the loss of Mike. It seems like yesterday when ya'll moved into Bayou Bend and we all had little kids and life was grand. How the time flies. I always enjoyed Mike, he was such a solid gentleman and I've always admired you both. Carol joins me in sending our warmest thoughts to you all. Jack

As I told Kasi, your dad/husband will always be remembered by me as a "gentle giant" of a man who adored his wife and girls to no end. He tolerated the loud commotion that Kasi, myself and many friends caused jumping in and out of your pool for HOURS-on-end during those hot, Beaumont summers with such unbelievable patience and came to our father/daughter Campfire Girls/Bluebird events demonstrating actual enthusiasm and what seemed like a genuine desire to be there (which could not be said for all of the dads! ;) Those memories are ones that I will always cherish. We were so shock to hear of Mike passing away. His family are in our prayers that God will comfort you at this time. Memories go back from Giles elementary thru SPHS. He always had a sweet smile. He will be missed.

Karol, I was so saddened to hear about Mike's passing. I remember him as far back as the first grade. He was always such a sweet soul. The world will miss his presence but his spirit will continue to remain all around us. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers for comfort and peace.
