Vicky, you and your family are in my prayers. I met John at Helena Labs, and I then followed him to Southern Avionics. It was a pleasure knowing John he always made sure everyone was being treated fairly, he always had a smile on his face which made you smile. He was a good man and will be missed. I have only known John for barely three years but in that short time, I have grown to consider him a close friend. The things that brought true happiness to his life were his Wife, kids and grandkids. The highlight of his day was to get a call and be asked “Papa is it alright if we come over this weekend”. I have listened to many stories of building bicycles and digging ponds with shovels. What a great guy. He will be sorely missed. Craig Maines

John was one of the best bosses and co-workers I have had the pleasure to work with. More than that though is that he was a great friend. Though I haven't seen him much in the last 20 years I think of him often and know I will miss him.
