Dear Ann,
You were and will always be my best friend and my sister.
You are, I won't say were because you will never be in the past tense in my heart, the sister I always wanted and needed so much all my life.
A woman of razor sharp intelligence and wit, discerning and defining taste, and a person of total and unconditional loyalty to those lucky enough to be loved by you.
A trailbrazer for women in business and in everyday life itself, with a courage unmatched by any.
A diamond, and not one in the rough, with so many shining and breathtaking facets, one could only behold you in wonder and awe at times.
But, oh so lovable and loving. Death may have taken you for a brief time, but your legacy lives on, and so does the laughter we shared, the love and wisdom you gave me, and most importantly the warmth you left in my heart that the grave cannot take.
Rest in peace my dearest friend and sister, your long journey here is done. I will see you again on the other side that you spoke of so often, and we will laugh once again together. But oh, how I will miss you until then.
My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Mari and Bobby and Ann's grandchildren Ben and Victoria on your great loss. My prayers are with you.

Bobby & Mari There is a wonderful picture of your mother and two other ladies hanging on the wall of my office. It has been in every office I have had for many years. People often ask who the beautiful lady is and it is always my pleasure to tell them that she was not only beautiful but smart, chic, and witty. When you were little, we rehearsed for performances of the Driven Snow Singers in your living room. I have many fond memories of her and her remarkable life. I know you are proud of her. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Paula Bothe
