Charles was a good friend. We sat next to each other in some classes and at the BHS graduation. I had lost track of him over the years and was pleased to read that he accomplished so much in life. I looked for him at the high school reunion. Wished we could have gotten together in later life. Maybe when it is my time to go. God speed, Charles.

I was blessed to know Mr. Kelly for almost 30 years as the father of my friend David. However, he became more than my father's friend and became a very good friend. He was a blessing to all who met and had time to visit with him. I know he loved the Lord and is now finally home.

I lived three houses south of the Kelly house on Magnolia Avenue in Beaumont until I left Beaumont in 1961. Charley and I played together all through childhood--in his house,his yard,behind his yard on the basketball court in the alley. My memories are fond. I regret your loss. Harry Frank
