Life will never be the same for me until I join my dear sister and prayer partner with the Lord. It breaks my heart that I could not attend the service. However, my doctor feels that it would not be good for my spine to make the trip. So I remain in the hospital here and thinking of all of you during the service. She will always be remembered by everyone for her beautiful smile and kind words. Her heart went out to all children, especially the mentally challenged and those she taught in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School each summer. Enjoy your sweet rest in the arms of Jesus.

We will miss Ruthie's sweet smile and wonderful laugh. She always had a hug for everyone.
She was a very special person!
We will not be able to make either service since we both work and live over here in Kingwood. But our thoughts and prayers will be with you as you deal with the loss.
Sincerely, Letitia "Tish" Breaux Castleman and Lonnie Castleman

To My Beloved Ruth:
You were both sister and mother to me more than I can say. You paddled me when I needed it even though my Mom wasn’t always happy about it, but it was always good for me. You also stepped in and help with school stuff when my mother was not able more times than I can count.
When my daughter and I lived with you for a short time back in the 1980s, you also “gently” guided my daughter too. It didn’t hurt her either.
Even though my brother passed many years ago, you have always remained my sister in law in my heart of hearts. I even had to remind Jim of that one time. He never argued with me over it again. I know you are in heaven with them both.
All my love.
I will miss you so much.
Patsy
