May God's love and peace be with Clarence and the boys, and also with her family. She was a very special person and definitely share God's love with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

There are no words that will ease your pain at this time but prayer is a powerful medicine. Del Carmen and Ledet families are in our prayers. God has a new angel in heaven and although she'll be sadly missed on this earth, her job to help the Lord is much more important. RIP Mercedes and watch over us.

Clarence, Alfredo, and Armando, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Mercedes death. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom and wife was a woman of such great love and faith that radiated to all of us who knew her. She was an inspiration as a mom who volunteered and was involved in your schools, your activities, the church and always with a smile. Such love, support and generosity will be a great strength for all of you. We do not understand why Mercedes left us so soon but God, in His infinite wisdom, has selected a wonderful angel to carry on His work. We are all left with a silence, a quiet sadness, and a longing for one more day, one more word, and one more beautiful smile. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:19). Our thoughts and prayers will be with the entire Ledet family. Stay strong in faith and look to the Lord for comfort. Relieve the troubles of my heart and bring me out of my distress (Psalm 25:17).

Dear Ledet family, there are no words to express the sadness we feel over the sudden loss of such a sweet and generous friend as your mom. Dear Clarence, Alfredo, and, Armondo,

I am so sorry for your loss. Mercedes was so dear to me. We shared so much over the years, including laughs, fun and faith. I was so happy to also have her with me at work. She was kind and compationate to our staff and families and essential to our work with many Spanish speaking families. For me, her generosity was humbling.

You were in her every thought and she was so proud of you.
