It was with great sadness that I received the news that Sam had passed away. Dottye, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family as you cope with your grief. May you always have joy in the memories you made together. I will remember Sam as a friendly classmate, great football player, and gracious friend.

Dottie:I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My father, Jesse Kenneth Watson, was the youngest brother to Sammie's mother. He and I are 1st cousin's. I will keep your family in my prayers.
