Garland Sonnier

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Garland's family. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him. He was a gentle, soft-spoken man, who will be missed very much.

To the Sonnier Family, praying your continued strength in The Lord. I worked with Garland many years ago at Allstate Ins. in Beaumont, Tx. Garland was truly a great person. I thank God for the opportunity to have him as one of my managers. God Bless you all.

Garland, my last memories of you will be us standing outside for the fire drill and you turning to give the "thumbs up" that we had done well. My other memory was of you continuing to remind me that I should get a rolling bag and not continue carrying a heavy briefcase because of how it could hurt my shoulder. Well, I am going to get one now....My sincere condolences to the family on your loss. You were blessed with someone with a wonderful, sincere and gently spirit. I pray for Gods' mercy on his soul and his love for each of you as you begin this journey

Dear Michele and family:
Our hearts are broken at the loss of Garland. He was a true friend and brother to me and a great role model to all who knew him. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers and we pray earnestly for God's peace to surround you and your family. His memory will always be a great standard for us to live by.

Garland was a grade ahead of me and I will always remember what a great friend and trumpet player he was. I'm certain St. Peter has already put his musical talents to good use. My prayers are with your family at this sad time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Sonnier family. Garland was one of the most friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was always a source of knowledge and patience I could turn to when I didn't have it when I worked with him at Allstate. Although he was taken what we think is too early, he's with God doing what he does best.

Michelle,I feel so blessed to have known Garland. He was so kind. I will pray for you ,Brian and his wife because I know that you will find comfort in the arms of God.
