To the Sonnier family. It was always a joy to work with Garland. He will be much missed by the pastors of the Diocese of Beaumont.
Eternal Rest Unto Him O'Lord, and may Easter life be with him forever.

To the Family of Garland Sonnier:
Our entire faculty, staff and administrators send our sincere condolances as well as our thoughts and prayers to each of you.

I also had the pleasure of working with Garland back in the "good ole" Allstate days in Beaumont. I especially remember the baby shower for his new baby boy and of course THAT SMILE....He was truly a dedicated father and husband. My sympathy to the family.

Michele,Bryan,Jonna and Family, as someone else said, “Garland was one of the good ones.”

Michele, your great love for Garland has always been evident; you are in our prayers, and we are truly sorry for your loss.

Bryan, we know you are hurting. As you live a life for the Lord in love and graciousness, you will truly honor your dad and his memory.

All of you have lost so much here on earth, and you all are in our prayers.

It is with great sadness that I read of the passing of Garland. Garland was good friend and a man with a humble heart. May God grant you peace.

My prayers are with the Garland Family. God will be with you through your time of sorrow. Know that the Lord will wrap you in his arms and comfort you.

I worked with Garland at the Chancery. He was always willing to help and came into work with a great attitude. Garland was welcoming when I first started working for the Diocese and his absence is heavily felt by all of us here. We miss our coworker and our friend. He as well as all of his family will remain in our family's prayers. God is with you all and rest assured that Garland is with our Father Almighty and has no more suffering. He sees over all of us now and will help his family and friends heal the hurt. If there is anything that you may need please do not hesitate to contact me.

My deepest sympathy to Garland's family and friends. I knew Mr. Sonnier through the Diocese and work and he was a truly dedicated and faithful servant and a very kind person. He will be greatly missed by those who worked with him. The diocese has lost a wonderful member of the family. May he rest in peace.
