Cheryl, Brent, Brenda and Family
Billy was such a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend to so many and it showed when it took me forever to find a parking spot at the visitation, not to mention Cheryl standing for 3 hours while people came by and showed their love to you and your family. He was such a provider to his family and a man of excellance when it came to his work. I can not imagine the lose that you are feeling but I know the grace is upon you and your family and he is but a moment away in our future. We will see him soon..... Thank you God for paying the price for that...... Love you Lisa

To the family of Billy~~

Billy and I went all the way through school together--elementary through high school. He was always a quality person. I'm glad that I knew him.

Please accept my sympathy.

Honey, I will miss you so very much but I know how you have sufferred and have been so miserable. Now, you dont have to suffer anymore. Brent and I will be ok so dont worry about us. Brent is a mountain of a man and you brought him up that way. He will stand in the shadow of your presence for the rest of his life and if he can be half the man you were, he will be great. I know you are with Jesus and now He will take care of you until we meet again. I'm not worried about you anymore. You took care of us and left us a legacy that will remain with us always. I love you honey and I'll take care of Brent and Brenda. Ralph and Kerri and especially Laila, miss you very much. Laila keeps asking if we can go get you. It has been hard on her to loose her Uncle Billy. I feel you are with me even tho you are not here physically, you are in spirit.
Rest and enjoy heaven, I here nothing can compare to your new home in heaven....and I am jealous...you get to see Jesus and His Father before I do! I love you and will never, ever, forget you and our 32 years together. You took good care of me and it was a priveledge and honor to take care of you these last 3 years of your illness. Maddie misses you, too! Now she is a comfort and companion for me and sleeps on your side of the bed! That sure helps me. You should have seen your friends and co-workers who came from everywhere to pay their respects and love for you. That sure made me proud. Love "momma."

Dear Brenda, Cheryl and Brent,
So many stories to tell of Billy, I will greatly miss him, I loved the way he always smiled and gave you such a hard time Brenda. It just wouldn't of been Billy if he couldn't aggrevate you. I will never forget the mud fight David and Billy got into as kids. And always asking what you were cooking. He always huged me so hard I couldn't breathe and then tell me how mean I was. We have so many memories as children and teenagers and now old folks.LOL.. I can't imagine coming to port neches and not seeing Billy. But his memory will never fade nor Aunt Bea's..We always had a good visit and a good meal no matter when we came. And forever greatful of your kindness and Billy, Cheryl and Brents and Ralph and Kerri too..Love seems to grow deeper and more appreciated when we loose a love one. The memoral service today was awsome. So glad to hear all the good things about Billy and Cheryl. Take care and let me know if I can help you with any thing.. You are welcome to come to Austin and stay with us anytime. Love Dianne

Billy was a great neighbor to me for 13 years and have known him for about 40 years. He will be greatly missed. I will miss seeing him sitting on the front porch and him always saying "if you need anything-just holler". And I have hollered a few times through the years. My sincere condolances to Cheryl and Brent and Brenda

Cheryl we were very sorry to hear about your loss. Bily had to be a fine person to have such a loving and caring wife. We went thru some trying times at First Security Bank, et. al. and because for your devotion to Our Lord and being the find person you are, I feel sure he is in a better place and one day we will all be together again. We love You and will be praying for you during this trying time.
