Don - I'm at a loss to find the proper words to express my deep sorrow over Bonnie's passing. You were the consumate couple and our Navy reunions were brighter because of Bonnie's presence and charm. You may have a huge whole in your heart, but please recogninze that Bonnies' personality and spirit are permanently imbedded within you.
My thoughts and prayers, as are all Cottonpickers, with you during this most difficult time.

Dear Don,
I was so very sorry to hear about the death of your dear wife, Bonnie. My heart goes out to you and your family. I'm so glad Jim & I got to see you both at Cat & Tommy's house at the beach a few years ago.
You will always miss her, but I hope your grieving period goes by quickly for you.
Sincerely, Sandra Matthews Dukas

In 2011 Bonnie served as photographer for the Bentwater Garden Club. She did an outstanding job and many of her photos appeared in Bentwater Life Magazine. Bonnie was very active in the garden club and was in attendance regularly. Bonnie also was an avid water aerobics participant each summer in Bentwater. She had great enthusiasm for water aerobics and rarely missed class. Bonnie will be greatly missed among her many friends in Bentwater.

Don, I am saddened to hear of Bonnie's death. I knew her very little. My recollection is of having a short conversation with her at a reunion or sometime with you. When I got a message from Barbara I immediately remembered her and it was with a good feeling towards the past and a sad feeling in the present. I know how tough it will be for you for a while.

To Cheryl and all of your family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. While this period of time can be one of great grief, please be heartened by the fact that your mother is no longer suffering. She is now an angel who will be looking down and guiding you forever. If there is anything I can do to help you through this time of sorrow, please do not hestitate to ask. May God be with you and your family.

Bonnie was a member of Needle & Tea that meets monthly in Bentwater. She always had a smile on her face and was eager to engage in conversation. I had only known Bonnie for a short time, but I will miss seeing her smiling face. My condolences to the entire family, Janice Barnett
