The world has lost a true gentleman, a caring person, and an incredible musician. I was blessed to be taught by Dr. Carlucci and always admired his passion for teaching especially after many years of teaching.

Thank you for being you Dr. Carlucci. My God be with your family during this trying time.

I began clarinet lessons with Dr. Carlucci in 1970. He was a fine player and great teacher. I still refer to his excellent hand written staccato excercise that he gave me. I have been very successful in using it with students that I have had. I know that he will be missed,

When I was a 1970 freshman music major at Lamar University, Dr. Carlucci arrived to teach clarinet. As a
clarinet teacher he was incredible----disciplined, detailed,
knowledgeable, professional, patient----the best. What a
blessing for a student of the clarinet to have such a teacher
for almost four years. Many memories of lessons and recitals will always be with me. Thank you Dr. Carlucci---
I hope I can also pass on what you taught me.

To Dr. Carlucci's family and friends---I pray that your
memories will be a comfort to you.

I had the honor of studying clarinet with Dr. Carlucci. He was an amazing mentor and teacher. It was with his amazing knowledge, experience and musicianship that transformed me as his student. I learned many lessons not just in music but in life. I would not be where I am today without his guidance and teachings. I feel very blessed to have been a part of his life. His spirit and memory will live on with me and the many lives he has touched.

Many memories have come back upon hearing of Dr. C's passing. I spent most of the 70's at Lamar playing in all of those groups, from Cardinal Strings to the BSO and of course, the Opera productions. Thank you, Dr. Carlucci, for all of the music you helped me experience.
