Dear Jane, Bud & Family I'm so sorry to learn of Buddy's passing. I've been out of the State on vacation and regret not being at Buddies funeral. I met him at age 15 in the Ski Club. Jane, the both of you made a very good impression on me at that young age, it's helped make me become who I am today. Buddy was one of the best men I've ever known. God Bless you Jane, Bud and family at this sorrowful time. All of you are in my prayers, God Bless.

Bud and Jane, I just wanted to say how much I loved Buddy. He was always ready with a word of encouragement and a smile. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the time that I spent with him. He made me, as well as everyone who knew him, feel very special. While we are suffering a great loss, I know that he is in a wonderful place and is watching over us all! You two and your entire family are in my prayers.
Love you both! Kathey

It won't be the same at the Retirees Club with Buddy not there. But, Jane, don't forget us. We will meet again in June. Thanks also for the pictures you always had for me. Gob Bless.

Jane & Bud, It saddened me so to learn of Buddy's demise. There has never and will never be another like Buddy "The Old Pro" Hebert. He was indeed a very special and remarkable man. Brian White

(((((Jane))))) I wish I could give you those hugs in person, but I'm hoping Bud will give them to you for me. And hopefully you will give them right back to Bud from me too. I'm so very sorry to hear about Buddy. Your message to him made me cry. We all know he's in Heaven now but he will be sorely missed here on earth. Mother (JoAnn) talked to Bud on the phone and I hope she let him know that she was in the hospital then rehab with pneumonia. I know she is sorry that she couldn't make the funeral and so am I. His obituary is a wonderful tribute to his life and I'm glad I got to read it. I hope to see you and give you real hugs when we come down in June. Love you bunches, Renee

DEar Jane, I had a double ssurprise: 1. That Buddy was still alive over the time which we have been e-mailing each other.I was led to believe that Buddy was already with the Lord. Did I get this from my brother George? Or Guinn Busbee? Who? All the same, I could have included him in our correspondences. I'm glad that the Lord knows our pain and gives us the strength to cope with our loss. Jane- remember that He who tempers the wind to the shorn lamb will also assuage your grief and give you peace. Jesus is our only real helper. He is close to you at this time and I'm glad that you are receiving His comfort. You are in my prayers at this moment. I lost a long time friend who sat next to me in the South Park Greenie Band for a season. DR. Charles N. Gibbs--"Pastor Chuck"

My Darling Honeybear - How hard it is to let you go - I had no idea you would leave me that Saturday morning. I know how hard the last year has been for you, and I know that you are at peace and not hurting any more. When I heard you praying Friday night for the Lord to take you, I finally realized how hard it has been for you, and I am so sorry I have been so selfish wanting to keep you longer. I tried so hard to take good care of you, and love you - and I hope you know how much I did and do love you. Buddy, what a beautiful service you had - I hope you enjoyed all of it - and the Military Service made me so proud, and I know it made you proud as well. Thank you for the wonderful 63 years we had together, and all the wonderful memories we have been able to share. And especially for the wonderful Son you gave me - you were best friends, and he is trying to take care of me now. You looked so at rest and at peace, all dressed in your red. My heart is so heavy, but I will love and cherish you forever. Love Calamity Jane
