I worked with Mike at Southwestern Lab and found one of the best friends of my life in Mike. We moved around in the country but Mike always stayed in touch with me over the years. He was one of the BEST. He would actually have given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I will always remember Mike for he was the Best!

Dear Katie, I remember meeting your daddy when he dropped you off at Toby's birthday party a couple of years ago. He was a very kind man. I know you will miss him dearly. When you look in the mirror, you can know he is right there with you. You look so much like him. We are thinking of you sweet girl and our prayers are with you. PS, I miss the big hugs you always gave me everytime you saw me! With love, David, Stacey, Toby, & Bradley Romero

I am very saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He and I were both in the class of 75. Mike and I had many classes together and many pizzas at the old Pizza Inn on 11th St. I have many memories of him.
May God Bless his family and walk with them during this very difficult journey.

I was saddened to hear of mike's passing, I worked with him in the early 1980's at Southwestern Laboratories....we made many trips to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in Hackberry La. I was new to the business at the time and Mike taught me alot.

I lost track of him in the mid 1980's and did not see him again until we bumped into each other in the mid 90's at Sutherlands in Beaumont.

My condolences and prayers go out to his family

So sorry for your loss. I'll always remember playing Army with little plastic toy soldiers at your home in Tyrrell Park with Mike. Will keep your family in our prayers.
