Rita and girls--
Joe was so loved by so many. He was a special person to me from childhood. The Peterson family showed me so much love when I was a child. I loved going to their house more than Christmas. Joe was my special love.....I didn't get to kiss him farewell on his journey home but I know he is waiting for all of us. It will only be a short while and we'll all be together again. He always told me "peawad, (my nick name from him)think on the good times laugh about the old times and smile while looking toward the future. I love you Joe and Rita. Cousin Phyll

I'll miss you Uncle Joe. Things just wont be the same without you. I'm so glad I got to see you on Friday. I know you aren't in any pain anymore. Tell Grandma and my brother "hello" for me :-) I love you.

Rita and family, I am so sorry for the great loss you have had. Joe was a wonderful man, and such a wonderful father to the girls. He really loved his daughters and grandchildren.
