Anyone lucky enough to have known our Dad knows of his tremendous spirit, witnessed how full of life he was and felt how he transferred it on to you while in his presence. I am beyond thankful to call him Dad! Love you forever in our hearts, Daddy...

When I heard about this horrible tragedy I was torn to shreds, I may not have spent the greatest amount of time with Valentine in the world, But the time I did spend around him, He lit up everyone around him, He was an amazing man with a large heart. He had a broad amount of talents and will only enjoy them even more now.. Look down on us Valentine.. We love you!! We miss you!!!

Dearest Debbie, Jerri and Jamie and all the Valentine family, Wayne and I send our condolences and our sympathy at this very difficult time for all of you. So many at the beach, throughout Southeast Texas and his Casting friends around the world will forever miss that humble big hearted guy and bigger than Texas smile. Jerry's love of the Church and the Bible demonstrated his Christianity by the way he lived. He truly will be greatly missed.

Heavenly Father, thank you that you promise comfort to those who mourn. Heavenly Father, we know that you are the God of all comfort. Lord, we ask you to comfort the Valentine's and fill them with your peace. Give them the strength they need in this difficult time. We pray that you would surround them with your love. Heal their brokenness and bind their wounds, in Jesus name.

RIP Jerry, you have touched so many lives and was loved so much on the peninsula and to everyone you met. Your memory will live on forever, you are missed...God Bless you

Jerry will be in my heart forever. I met him throught the brotherhood of casting. Now I am sure he will hit his best cast ever with that all to well YEEEHAA! Love you Jerry, God's speed.

No words express the sadness we feel at losing Jerry. No words express the joy we had knowing him and all the family. Some of our best memories have to do with you, Debbie and Jerry, and that doesn't even count all Steve's fishing memories. We love you.
