Aunt Eva and Jerry,
I have fond memories of being around Tom at the gatherings in Starks, La when I was young, the 5 day stay at yours and Aunt Erma's house during hurricane Carla in 1961, and our visits to see Grandma Poole when she lived in your house. I will always remember Tom's laugh and smile. He was a great encourager and I appreciated him so much! I know you will miss him, but I know he is in paradise with our Lord waiting on us to be with him some day.
Love Y'all,
Bob & Lee Dell Poole

Mrs. Oglesbee, Although we knew Mr. Oglesbee for only a short time, we could tell that he was a very caring man. It's very evident how much love the two of you shared. We are praying for you and your family to have peace, comfort, and even joy through this time. Although he is no longer with us, we know that he has received the heavenly prize. Our deepest sympathy.

Oglesbee Family,
I will never forget having Bro. Tom as a Sunday School teacher and R.A. Leader at Highland Ave. Baptist. His teachings laid a foundation for me that resulted in accepting Jesus much too late in life. Our prayers are with all of you in your loss.

We love you Paw Paw. You are already so missed. Thanks for all the fishing trips we went on. All the laughs we had especially the day that Maw Maw fell in the mud and was ready to go home. We hadn't even started fishing yet. Thank you for building me a go-kart in your spare time, and then fixing it after I wrecked it right out of the hatch. Thanks for building an oil derrick with me, and then another one to give to my history teacher. Thanks for the support you gave me, when I was un-deserving of it. Most of all, thank you for all the Love you gave when you were never asked to. We love and appreciate all you have done for us.

Dear Jerry I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I know how hard this is. We never are ready for them to go even when we know it is going to happen.I still miss my Dad he has been gone since 1996. There are days I can drive up to my Momma's and think I saw him on the porch. Fathers are special. I hope you Michele and Tad and the rest of the family will treasure your memories of him the material things we have cannot take the place of those beautiful memories. Love to all of you.

Growing up on Zavalla Dr. and having "Neighborly Neighbors" parties, we all became close and all knew everyone's families. Remember Tom and Eva well, as well as Jerry. Know your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
