Curtis was a sweet, gentle, funny man, and I feel fortunate to have known him. I will miss his smile, his laughing eyes, and his constant upbeat nature. He was a real asset to the Volunteer Program at Baptist Hospital, and he will be missed.

Dearest Bettye, We have been blessed with knowing you both, and that is a priceless gift to have. Curtis was, and is a valuable part of our lives, and he now stands over us all. Every person that he touched in his own way gave love, and knowledge for us all to live by.

Bettye & Family,
Our hearts are heavy as we share your loss. Bro. Curtis was such a witness to all who knew him. We rejoice today as he has gone to claim his reward. He worked hard for the victory he has today. You will be in our hearts and prayers in the days ahead. We love you dearly.

In God's dictionary under the word Servant Curtis would be the true definition. He fought the good fight, but he had his bags packed, his house in order, and he was ready to go.
He was an inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing him. He always had a smile and a kind word, even on his worse days of pain.
I'll miss you PA.
