Dad, you were truly a survivor. Your life was filled with one "hard situation" after another from an early age, but you always managed to find a way to press on through. I remember the neat camper cover you made out of wood for the old Ford truck and the speaker/buzzer system, complete with answer codes, you had made to communicate with the kids being carpooled to school who were riding in the back. Of course that was way before the seatbelt laws. What fun we had buzzing messages back and forth from front seat to back seat. You were truly the "inventor" at heart. Life doesn't always "play fair," but you managed to roll with the punches somehow. If I learned anything from you at all....it was to press on. Love, Shelda
