While a child, I would travel with my family to Beaumont usually to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas with my father's family. Maribel Helen was my most favorite relative to see. I remember her unique voice and smiling face. She was a beautiful lady who was always very kind and loving. She was a true Christian woman. I pray for God to comfort and strengthen all of Maribel Helen's relatives and friends.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer my most sincere condolences to Mrs. Bost's family. It was my 5th Grade year at Lumberton Intermediate School and Mrs. Bost was my teacher. I was a hellion in those days, but Mrs. Bost knew how to keep me in line. Back then teachers still paddled, something missing in schools today. She was the nicest and most talented person I knew. She encouraged my artistic side. In fact, she entered one of my art pieces to the South Texas Fair and I won second place. I later got involved in piano and went to concert level perforer. My last performance was at the Julie Rogers in 2005. Again, I am truly sorry for your loss, but know that she was a great lady who knew how to educate and inspire young children...Hats off to you and your kind spirit Maribel Bost!

Maribel Helen was my delightful, talented aunt. I didn't get to visit her often when I was a child, but I have many memories of her from those times. Long ago she told me stories about Mac, the Scottie dog. As a young teen who had never cooked anything from scratch, I asked for her homemade dinner roll recipe and was awed by the work required to produce them. I admired her admired her as if she were a beautiful movie star, skilled in all creative work. When I became an adult, I saw her show the same interest in my young daughter that she must have shown in me during my early years. I am grateful for the impact she had on my life. I also appreciate those who cared for and supported her throughout the challenges of her later years. I believe my daddy and his little sister and all our family members who have passed into new life are rejoicing together today in Perfect Love.
