Joe Hernandez

My Uncle Joe was my hero. My childhood memories were of him teasing me and always up for fun. He called me "Laurel" and I thought that was hilarious!

I am so proud to have known him; he was truly a selfless, good person that tried to help his fellow man, and he played down his amazing kindness. He will live in my heart forever and I am so lucky that he was my uncle.

I am so sorry and sad to hear about your loss. Praying for you all for peace & comfort. What a blessing Mr. Hernandez was to so many! I have such wonderful memories of being with you all in my younger days! He was always smiling and so funny and kind. I know you will all miss him so much. I know you will forever cherish all the great memories you have of your time together with him. Love you all so much!

Joe & Vi..Love and kindness are the two ingredients which make the world go around..You have shown both to us so many times! You have our sympathy..We lost our loving husband and father in 1980..Cleve and Mom, Ruth

Never ever did we see Joe that he did not come kiss me on the cheek. He also loved to tease my husband and called him Adam on the Young & Restless show, which Joe loved and my husband didn't. Gosh he will be missed by us and so many of our friends. Love to you Vi on your loss.

Dear Vi, Our condolence to you, your children & grand children. We have lots of memories of Joe, he will be in our prayers, as will you. He gave of himself to others, many times over, may he rest in peace now. God Bless, Julius, Jeanie & Julius Jr. & family.

To a very special man I have known for 58 years plus. My heart is heavy right now but with all my memories of times with you it will ease some. I will treasure all of them. I know that my godmother, Joel, Roxie and Christy and the boys will miss you very much I know I do even though visit were only on Saturday at church or at our Senior meetings. Prior to that when we were all younger it was more often. I know that mom and dad will miss you too. Just remember as Whitney sang it "I will always love" Please rest now. Kisses and hugs to you. Joe will always be remember as the wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was always there to help his family and service to others. Vi, my prayers and thought are with you and your family.
