Dan and family; Elliott and you were a big part of my adult life and I especially remember the first safety dinner at then Enron field in Houston. They had given away souvinere baseballs of the Astros, and that was big to me being an Astro fan since the early 60's. As we were leaving Elliot was showing me the baseballs that she had collected to give to the grandchildren however she was one short! I really valued that baseball as it was a commerative for the new stadium but thinking how much she and you meant to me I gave her mine and she was so appreciative as she always was. That was special to me and I know she will be deeply missed however I know she is in a much better place. May god comfort you Dan and all the family in her loss.

I will always remember 5715 Bellaire lane as a safe, warm, caring place, to grow up - a wonderful second home for me and Jim's other friends. Elliott is the reason for many fond memories of childhood. I thank her and Dan for being a special extended family for me.

Dear Dan, Dan III, Jim and Families, Our hearts ache for each of you at this time of loss. Dan, your long and faithful vigil during these past years is a witness to all of your devotion to this once vibrant lady! We have such fond memories of Elliott. She was every inch a "Southern Lady", which took this Colorado farm girl a bit of time to understand and appreciate. What an excellent role model! May you be sustained by the knowledge that your friends mourn with you and pray for you. Most importantly, may your strong faith be reassuring to you in the Promise of Easter. With our love and God's Blessings, Jennie & Darol
